BHU Varanasi Zoology/Biochemistry JRF Openings

Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in an ICMR sponsored research project (BHU Project code: P-14/0793) entitled “Therapeutic intervention of µ-opioid receptor in regulating neuroimmune crosstalk in airway inflammation: An insilico and invivo study” sanctioned for a period of three years. 

The stipend payable will be Rs. 31,000/- + 18% HRA per month for two years and Rs 35,000/- + 18% HRA per month for third year as per ICMR rules. 

The post is purely temporary and coterminus with the project. 

Essential Qualifications: The candidates should be M.Sc. Zoology/Biochemistry /Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Life Science or a related field (with 55% and above) and must have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent. 

The upper age limit is 28 years (relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH and Female candidates). SC/ST and female candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
