The Technical Research Centre (TRC), funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) and Ministry ofScience & Technology, Government of India at S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of Project Scientists-D (3 positions) in the TRC Project on contractual basis: 

Essential Qualification: PhD in Science / Applied Science / Engineering with in any of the qualifying Area: Physics / Applied Physics / Chemical Science / Biological Science / Applied Optics / Instrumentation / Material Science or Computer Science from a recognized College /Institution / University. 

Essential Experience: Minimum 3 (three) years after PhD 

Desirable : 

 First Class in qualifying degree. 

 The candidates should process at-least 5 publications. 

 The qualification and experience of the candidates applying in TRC should have a good overlap with the activities of TRC. 

Age Limit: Not more than 40 years on the date of advertisement. 

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 74,200/- (approximately) per month inclusive of all allowances.

Essential Qualification: M. Sc./B. Tech/ M. Tech in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Applied Optics/ Photonics/ Instrumentation/ Biological Science/ Chemical Science/ Materials Science/ Electronics Science/ Biomedical Engineering/Computer Science. 

Knowledge of Computer use is essential. 

Desirable: 

1. First Class/ division in qualifying degree. 

2. The qualification and experience of the candidate applying in TRC should have a good overlap with the activities of TRC. 

Age Limit: 28 years. 

Fellowship: Rs.32,500/-(approximately) per month including all the allowances.
