Applications are invited from eligible candidates, for filling up of the post of “Senior Research Fellow” on contract basis for an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) project entitled Potentiality of Presepsin (sCD14-ST) as a significant Diagnostic and Prognostic determinant in Patients with Post-Neurosurgical Ventriculitis /Meningitis“ under Dr.H.B.Veena Kumari, Professor and Head, Department of Neuromicrobiology and Principal Investigator, NIMHANS, Bengaluru.
Educational qualification M.Sc Medical Microbiology/M.Sc. Microbiology/ from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade. Should have minimum of two years of hands on experience in Microbiology Laboratory after post-graduation.
Desirable M.Sc. Biotechnology /M.Sc Medical lab Technology Candidate with experience in molecular techniques, such as PCR and sequencing
Nature of work Microbiology diagnostics with special reference to molecular techniques, clinical microbiology rounds, data collection, liaison with clinical departments and supervision and updation of the project work.
Maximum age limit 30 years
Salary Rs. 35,000/- + 27% HRA per month
Duration of the employment Initial appointment will be made for 6 months, extendable based on performance of the candidate.
