It is proposed to fill-up following position as per details below purely on temporary
basis under the time bound Project running in this Institute:
The candidates fulfilling the qualification for the above position are invited to appear
for a walk-in-interview to be held at the office of Dr. Ritu Mawar, Principal Scientist & PI,
Division of Plant Improvement and Pest Management, ICAR- Central Arid Zone Research
Institute, Light Industrial Area, Jodhpur – 342 003 (Raj.).
The candidate should bring the filled in application form (as per the format annexed)
duly signed and pasted with a recent colour passport size photograph along with the following
documents given below.
(i) All original certificates of educational qualifications from matriculation onwards,
date of birth certificate and one set of the attested copies of all the required certificates
(ii) Two testimonials of Character from two responsible gazette officers
(iii) No objection certificate from the employer in case of employment elsewhere
(iv) Experience certificate in original need to be submitted.

Essential:
M. Sc in Agriculture sciences /Life sciences
/Botany/Biotechnology
Desirable:
1. Three years working experience on Plant
Pathology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology
2. Publications in the relevant field of expertise in peer
reviewed journals.
3. Hands on experience of field evaluation of crops
4. Basic knowledge of computers
Duration and other
conditions
Up-to completion of the project i.e. Oct, 2026 (purely
temporary). Initial engagement will be for one year which is
extendable for two more years subject to satisfactory
performance.
Age limit
Minimum age will be 21 years and maximum 45 years (as on
date of walk-in-interview) (Relaxation for SC/ST/ Women &
OBC candidates as per rule)
