Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow
for the SERB funded project titled as “Wearable self-powered intraocular pressure
monitoring nanogenerators for sensitive detection of glaucoma” at Faculty of Allied
Health Sciences, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education.
Essential Qualification M.E. in Engineering or M.Tech. / M.Sc. in Nanotechnology
Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Botany / Biochemistry
Tissue engineering related field with strong commitment and
motivation to pursue research in the subject area.
Salary Rs. 31,000 + 8% HRA
Duration 36 months

Preference will be given to the candidate who is having good academic record,
research potential and relevant experience. However, the selection of the candidate
would be based on their performance in the Interview.

The decision of selection committee is final. If any applicant is found to canvass in any
manner, the candidate selection shall be summarily rejected.
Selected candidate is also permitted to register for Ph.D. programme in Chettinad
Academy of Research and Education.
