The B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Sc. And Tech. seeks to fill the following project human resource position for its ICMR-funded research project titled “Structure-based Design and Development of Selective New Delhi Metallo beta lactamse-1 Inhibitors to Combat Antibiotic Resistance” PI Dr. Md. Khurshid Alam Khan, Associate Professor, School of Life Sciences, and CoPI Dr. K. Karthikeyan, Department of Chemistry B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Vandalur, Chennai-48
The post is to be filled on a purely temporary basis for one year, extendable up to two years or till the completion of the project.

Monthly Emoluments
Rs. 56000/- + 27% HRA
Age Limit Not exceeding 35 years of age
Minimum Essential Qualification First class post- graduate degree including the integrated PG degree in Life Sciences or related discipline
OR
Second class post-graduate degree, including the integrated PG degree with PhD in Life Sciences or related discipline
Desirable PhD degree in the above-mentioned subjects with experience in protein purification and characterization.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Principal Investigator in the implementation of the research project.
2. Conduct literature reviews and assist in data collection and analysis.
3. Collaborate with team members in laboratory experiments and data interpretation.
4. Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures and results.
5. Prepare progress reports and presentations for project meetings and conferences.
6. Assist in the preparation of manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
No TA/DA will be paid if called for interview.
