NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application to the post
of “Research Associate-I (Project)” under the DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance project
entitled “Study of neuronal regeneration using C. elegans ”.
Interested candidate fulfilling the following requirements can submit duly filled in

support of their qualifications and experience latest by 05th March, 2024 to “Administrative

Essential Qualification
Ph. D. / MD /MS / MDS or equivalent degree or having 03 years
of research, teaching and design and development experience
after MVSc. / M. Pharm / ME / M. Tech with at least one research
paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Desirable Qualification /
Experience
-Experience in Neuroscience and Genetics is needed.
-Expertise in molecular cloning for transgenic work, biochemistry
is preferred.
Duties Expected to work independently using C. elegans model and
nervous system function
Fellowship ` 50,000/- per month (Consolidated). No other allowances /
benefits will be admissible.
Upper Age limit 40 years
Project Investigator Prof. Anindya Ghosh Roy, Scientist VI, NBRC
Tenure Appointment will be made on contract basis, initially for one
year. Continuation of appointment will depend upon satisfactory
performance during the appointment period and validity of the
project. The post is co-terminus with the project.
