Advertisement for the Post of Project Scientist I (Non-Medical) on contractual basis under ICMR funded project Titled “Study of molecular profile of Nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the North Eastern region and its relation to Epstein Barr Virus(EBV) infection” 

Qualification First Class MSc / PhD in Biological science 

Desirable 

Experience in research in cancer including molecular diagnosis, genomic surveillance, serological diagnosis in hospital/lab settings. 

Experience in overall project management and coordination with clinical sites, imparting training in molecular and serological diagnosis, data collection, compilation, bioinformatics and statistical analysis, preparation of diagnostic reports. 

35 years 

56000+ 9% HRA 

Total Project duration is 3 years.

Appointment will be initially for a 6 months period which may be renewed depending on the performance of the candidate

Venue: Department of Pathology, First Floor, Medical College Building. NElGRlHMS, Shillong. Timing: 9:30 AM onwards
