Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) under the project entitled ‘Engineering
Escherichia coli for bioconversion of tartaric acid to hydroxycitric
acid (HCA), a high-value product’ funded by Gujarat State
Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM), DST, Government of Gujarat. This post
is purely temporary and coterminous with the project.
Duration: 03 years.
Eligibility: M.Sc. Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/other relevant
area of Life Sciences with minimum of 55% marks. Candidates with
additional desirable qualifications may be preferred.

results may also apply.
Fellowship:
(i) For NET/GATE/equivalent exams qualified candidates:
Rs 31,000 + HRA per month for first two years and Rs 35,000 + HRA per
month for third year.
(ii) For others: Rs 23,213 per month for first two
years and Rs 27,300 per month for third year.
Age limit: Upto 28 years as on the last date of application and as per
GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines.
