Fellowship Pay @ Rs.55,000 /- + HRA per month
Essential qualification Ph. D or equivalent degree in Life Sciences with specialization in
Aquaculture, Fish Genetics and Breeding, Marine Biology / Marine Biotechnology.

Three year’s experience on shrimp breeding and shrimp hatchery
management, shrimp farming, shrimp nursery and grow-out farming,
design and development experience after M.F.Sc., / M.Sc / M.Tech with
at least one research paper in science citation indexed (SCI) journal.
Desirable Working knowledge on shrimp breeding and shrimp hatchery
management, technical skill in artificial insemination, induced
maturation of penaeid shrimps, shrimp farm managements as evident
through dissertation / project work / research publication or work
experience certificate.
Nature of work Planning and execution of shrimp breeding and overall hatchery
management, biosecurity maintenance at quarantine units, nucleus
breeding centre management, farm level demonstration of Indian white
shrimp across the state, co-ordination with other project staffs to
progress the work and overall management of the project.
Age Limit Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women as on date of
interview. Age limits are relaxable for SC / ST / OBC candidates as
per rules.
