Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow (one number) underthe time-bound ICAR-National project entitled “Development of buffalo bull fertility diagnosticchip based on sperm transcripts signatures”. This recruitment is subjected to terms andconditions in force in ICAR for such appointments. There is no provision for absorption/re-employment in ICAR-NIANP/ICAR after the termination of the project. The service of theperson, who engaged, will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the project. The appointment is purely on a temporary basis and liable to be terminated at any time without
assigning any reason thereof. Interested candidates may apply directly as per the format annexedto the PI at Selvaraju.S@icar.gov.in on or before 16-04-2024 for initial screening. Candidatesshort-listed for interview will be intimated on or before 20-04-2024. The interviewis tentativelyscheduled on 29-04-2024 at 10.00 AM at the Administrative Block of ICAR-NIANP, Adugodi, Bengaluru. with duly signed application form in the prescribed format, two sets of attestedcopiesof certificates and testimonials along with original certificates. The candidates will not bepaidany TA/DA and will have to make their own arrangements for travel, stay, etc. for attendingtheinterview.

3 Essential qualification Master’s degree courses in the relevant subject with 4 years /
5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1
st division or 60%marks or
equivalent overall grade point average with two years of
experience. OR
Master’s degree (3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’sdegree) in the life sciences with NET/GATE/BET qualificationwith two years of experience.
Preferred subjects: Animal Reproduction, Animal Physiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences and Bioinformatics.
4 Desirable
Qualification
Research experience in nucleic acid isolation and purifications, qPCR, NGS library preparation and sequencing. The candidateshould have knowledge in bioinformatics analysis of current
genomics (NGS and microarray) and proteomic (LC-MS/MS)
platform date. The experience should be supported with published researchpapers in internationally reputed journals.
5 Remuneration Rs. 31,000/- 27% HRA per month. HRA will be providedif noaccommodation is provided (as per ICAR guidelines)

7. Age Limit Upper age limit 35 years: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PHandwomen candidates will be extended as per ICAR rules. The qualification, remuneration and other terms and conditions will be as per ICARGuidelines (circulated vide F. No. Agril.Edn./6/27/2014-HRD dated 30-07-2019).
