Walk-in-interview/written test ICMR-National Institute of Translational Virology and Aids Research Institute, Pune, (formerly known as NARI) is a research Institute under the aegis of Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The institute intends to engage the following Non-Institutional project human resource positions, purely on temporary contract basis for our short-term research projects titled “Gene Xpert platform and dried blood spots for HIV viral load testing among people living with HIV (PLH) attending ART centers in India.”. 

Place of Work – Odisha/Rajasthan State (Later may be shifted to Bhosari, Pune). 

Name of the Post Research Assistant 

Age Limit 30 Years 

Emoluments Rs. 31000/- p.m. 

Essential Qualification 

1. Graduate in science/relevant subjects/ from recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution or Masters degree in the relevant subject. 

Desirable Qualification

 

 Additional qualification and two years experience in field of HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis. 

 Master in Public Health.

Job Responsibilities 

 The posting will be done in the state of Odisha state/ Rajasthan for 3-4 months. (Later may be shifted to Pune.) 

 Collection of data at ART Centre, TB laboratories 

 Co-ordination between field center, field lab and research institute. 

 Conduction of in Depth interviews. 

 Other assignments by the principal investigator pertaining to study. 

 No additional field allowances for field posting except for TA. 

Project Duration Initially for a period of 06 months 

Date of Walk-in-Interview /Written test and Reporting Time 14.06.2024 Reporting time 09.00 – 10.00 AM (Candidates arriving late after 10.00 am will not be entertained under any circumstances) 

Selection Procedure Walk-In-Interview and/or a Written test if the number of eligible candidates are more than 30 

Name of the Post Laboratory Technician 

Age Limit 30 Years 

Emoluments Rs. 18000/- p.m. 

Essential Qualification 12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years field/ laboratory experience *B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience 

Desirable Qualification 

 Posting may be done in state of Rajasthan if needed. 

 No additional field allowance will be provided.

 Later on candidate will be posted to Pune campus. 

Job Responsibilities 

 DBS Sample collection. 

 Sample Processing. 

 Other responsibility assigned by PI. 

Project Duration Initially for a period of 04 months
