Walk-in-interview has been scheduled for the engagement of 01 Young Professional-I
(YP-I) at ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar in a BIS funded project entitled “Development of smart
sensor probe-based method for rapid detection of freshness of dressed chicken”.
The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and will be liable for
termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance. There will be no
provision of absorption/reemployment in ICAR or ICAR-IVRI on termination of the
project.
The selection process is as per the Office Memorandum of ICAR.
Duration of the Project: Likely up to December, 2024
Essential Qualification: Graduates in Life Science including Agricultural Sciences,
Engineering Technology with at least 60% marks (Life Science/All Agriculture and
Allied Sciences, Animal Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Food Science, Fisheries, etc.)
Desirable Qualification: Working knowledge/experience in laboratory techniques in
Food Microbiology and food technology.
Age: Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 45 years with relaxation as per the GoI norms.
Emoluments: 30000 (Thirty Thousand) per month consolidated emoluments as per
ICAR guidelines. No HRA shall be paid
