Advertisement Post of Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical) (01 Post)
Applications are invited for the position of Project Research Scientist -I (Non-Medical) (01 post)
with emoluments of Rs. 56,000/- per month + 20% HRA in an ICMR-sponsored project entitled
“Development of fatty acid synthesis inhibitors through Medohara formulations as a potential
therapeutic strategy for resistant breast tumours”, sanctioned for three years. The post is
temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology,
Zoology, Bioinformatics, or allied areas with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
Additionally, candidates should have qualified NET/GATE.
Desirable Qualifications
Candidates with experience in relevant areas, particularly in metabolism and mammalian cell
culture or Drosophila Genetics/handling, will be given preference.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 35 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Physically
Handicapped/Female candidates. In cases where qualifications are equal, preference will be given
to SC/ST candidates as per Government of India rules.
