Applications are invited for the position of Project Associate-I (01 post) with emoluments of Rs.
31,000/- per month + 18% HRA in a DBT-sponsored project entitled “Role of Tim44 in rewiring
tumour cell mitochondria to promote cell proliferation and angiogenesis”, sanctioned for three
years. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology,
Zoology, Bioinformatics, or allied areas with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
Additionally, candidates should have qualified NET/GATE to be eligible for this position.
Desirable Qualifications
Candidates with experience in relevant areas, particularly in cancer metabolism and mammalian
cell culture, will be given preference.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 35 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Physically
Handicapped/Female candidates. In cases where qualifications are equal, preference will be given
to SC/ST candidates as per Government of India rules.
