Applications are invited on prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs. 200/- in shape of online payment on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in favor of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana along with attested copies of certificates for this position in project as given below:
1. One position of Junior Research Fellow @ Rs 31,000/- + HRA 16% per month for 1st two years and as SRF @ Rs 35,000/- + HRA 16% per month for 3rd year in the Project entitled “New insight in understanding genomic footprints of nutrient uptake under direct-seeded rice cultivation system” CSS-14 (PC-6413)”.
Educational qualifications
- B.Sc.Biotechnology/Agriculture/Horticulture/Biosciences/B.Tech.Biotechnology/Life Sciences with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Life Sciences/Bioinformatics with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 OCPA or 65% marks.
Maximum age: 35 years
Note-I: The candidates who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.
Note-II:Applicant must have passed the GATE/CSIR-UGC_NET/ARS-NET/DBT-BET or an equivalent national level test. If a suitable candidate with NET is not available, then non NET candidate can be selected at monthly emoluments of Rs. 25000+16% HRA.
Note-III: The Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.
Note-IV: Desirable: Candidate with experience with rice crop/Genome/Transcriptome/ bioinformatics data handling.
