Project name: Understanding the Molecular Mechanism in Ceramide Induced Pathological
Activation of Nek7/Nlrp3-Inflammasome.
Project Description:
NLRP3 inflammasome has been implicated in a wide range of diseases. Few studies have reported on the NLRP3-
NEK7- complex axis role in disease pathogenesis. The functional role of NLRP3 needs to shed light to get deeper
insights into the NEK7 role in human immune or inflammatory mediated functions. Overall, our study will be critical
for identifying and facilitating in developing therapeutic regimes for better treatments of NLRP3 inflammasomerelated inflammatory diseases.
