Walk-In-Interviews for temporary positions of Eleven Young Professional-II & one YP-I
(One YP-II under CDDL Program on LSD, One YP-II under AINP-OH, Six YP-II and
One YP-I under NP-GET Programme, One YP-II under CRPVD Project, One YP-II
under CDDL Program on Avian Influenza and One YP-II under CDDL Program on ASF
The Walk-in-Interview will be conducted for recruitment of Young Professional-II and Young
Professional-I (purely time bound/non-regular/temporary/contractual engagement and co-terminus with
the concerned program/scheme) on various dates at ICAR- National Institute of High Security Animal
Diseases, Anand Nagar, Bhopal under various project/program of this Institute. The details of the posts,
eligibilities, terms and conditions etc. are detailed below:-

1 (A) Name of Post Young Professional-II (YP-II)
(i) Number of Positions One (01)
(ii) Name of Project CDDL Program on Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD)
(iii) Duration The engagement will be initially for a period of one year, and
extendable for another two years (one year at a time), subject to
satisfactory performance of the candidate and approval from
funding agency.
(iv) Essential Educational
Qualification
Post graduate degree (M.Sc./M.V.Sc.) in Microbiology/
Virology/Biotechnology
OR
Graduation degree in Veterinary Sciences/Animal Science.
(v) Desirable Qualification Preference will be given to the candidates having laboratory
work experience on animal virus, virological methods and
molecular biology. Knowledge of bioinformatics and computer
applications.
(vi) Remuneration Rs. 42000/= only per month (consolidated) . No House Rent
Allowance (HRA) will be paid.
(vii) Age Limit The minimum age under young professional category will be 21
years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.

2 (A) Name of Post Young Professional-II (YP-II)
(i) Number of Positions One (01)
(ii) Name of Project All India Network Project on One Health.
(iii) Duration The engagement will be initially for a period of 01 year, and
may be extendable 31.03.2026.
(iv) Essential Educational
Qualification
Post-Graduation degree in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/
Biotechnology or any other life sciences discipline as per
ICAR guidelines.
OR
Graduation in Animal Science/Veterinary Sciences.
(v) Desirable Preference will be given to the candidates having work
experience in infectious diseases and molecular biology.
(vi) Remuneration Rs. 42,000/- PM only (consolidated). No House Rent
Allowance (HRA) will be paid.
(vii) Age Limit The minimum age under young professional category will be
21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.
2(B) Date of Interview 27.02.2025 at 10.00 AM
3((A) Name of Post Young Professional-II (YP-II)
(i) Number of Positions Three (03)
(ii) Name of Projects 1. Center of Excellence in Genome Editing (One YP-II)
2. Establishment of a herpes virus vector platform and
identification of vaccine candidates by gene editing for
emerging and exotic diseases of livestock and poultry (Two
YP-II).
(iii) Duration The engagement will be initially for a period of 01 year, and
may be extendable till 31.03.2026.
(iv) Essential Educational
Qualification
Post-graduation degree- M.Sc. in Microbiology/Virology/
Biochemistry (or) Graduation in Animal Science/ Veterinary
Sciences (or) M. Tech in Biotechnology as per ICAR
guidelines.
(v) Desirable Preference will be given to the candidates having work
experience in animal virus.
(vi) Remuneration Rs. 42000/- PM only (consolidated). No House Rent
Allowance (HRA) will be paid.
(vii) Age Limit The minimum age under young professional category will be
21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.

5(A) Name of Post Young Professional-II (YP-II)

(ii) Name of Project CRISPR-Cas based-point-of-care diagnostic platform for
MERS virus.
(iii) Duration Up to March, 2026
(iv) Minimum Essential
Qualification
Graduation or Post-graduation in Animal/Veterinary
Sciences.
OR
Post Graduate Degree in Biochemistry/Microbiology.
(v) Project specific
requirement
The recruited candidate will have to go for livestock
sample collections from the field apart from regular
laboratory work of the project.
(vi) Preferable Preference will be given to the candidates having work
experience in viral disease diagnosis/research.
(vii) Remuneration Rs. 42000/- PM only (consolidated). No House Rent
Allowance (HRA) will be paid.
(viii) Age Limit The minimum age under young professional category will
be 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per
rules.

(ii) Name of Projects Development of CRISPR/Cas based detection assay for H1
Swine influenza virus and H9 Avian Influenza virus.
(iii) Duration The engagement will be initially for a period of 01 year, and
may be extendable till 31.03.2026.
(iv) Essential Educational
Qualification
Graduate degree in Veterinary Science (BVSc) (or) Post
graduate degree-M.Sc. in Microbiology/Virology/
Biochemistry (or) M. Tech. in Biotechnology as per ICAR
guidelines.
(v) Desirable
Laboratory experience in animal cell culture, virological
methods and molecular biology work.
Knowledge on bioinformatics and computer applications.
(As evidenced by dissertation/thesis research work,
experience certificate, etc.)
(vi) Remuneration Rs. 42000/- PM only (consolidated). No House Rent
Allowance (HRA) will be paid.
(vii) Age Limit The minimum age under young professional category will be
21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.

to avian influenza (H5N1).
(iii) Duration The engagement will be initially for a period of 01 year, and
may be extendable till 31.03.2026.
(iv) Essential Educational
Qualification
Post-Graduation degree in Microbiology /Biotechnology/
Biochemistry or any discipline of Life Science as per ICAR
guidelines.
OR
Graduation in Veterinary Sciences.
(v) Desirable Preference will be given to the candidates having work
experience in animal virus.
(vi) Remuneration Rs. 42000/- PM only (consolidated). No House Rent
Allowance (HRA) will be paid.
(vii) Age Limit The minimum age under young professional category will be

Graduate degree in Veterinary Science (BVSc) (or) Post
graduate degree-M.Sc. in Microbiology/Virology/
Biochemistry (or) M. Tech. in Biotechnology as per ICAR
guidelines.
(v) Desirable

Qualification
Graduation in Animal Science/Veterinary Sciences.
OR
Post-Graduation degree in Microbiology as per ICAR
guidelines.
(v) Desirable Preference will be given to the candidates having work
experience in animal virus.
(vi) Remuneration Rs. 42000/- PM only (consolidated). No House Rent

(v) Desirable
Laboratory experience in animal cell culture, serological
and virological methods, and molecular biology work.
