Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Biotechnology
Desirable: Experience in isolation and screening of bioactives
Monthly Emoluments:
- Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lecturership/assistant professorship or GATE or those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by central government departments like DBT, DST or equivalent and/or their agencies/institutions
- Rs. 25000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above
Job description: Selected candidate will work in the BIRAC project, titled Climate-smart ruminant feed additives: Alga, microbes consotita for sustainable enteric methane abatement, improved health, and enhanced productivity in Indian cattle –GAP2190. The candidate is supposed to work on screening, extraction, characterization as well as optimization of alga-microbe feed additives for cattle
Age limit: 35 years as on the last date of receiving applications (age relaxation as per CSIR rule).
