Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellows for the Indo-Russia, - Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology in the School of Bio Sciences and Technology at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, T.N, India  

Title of the Project  :  “Microsatellite instability across various tumor types diagnostic criteria, methods of detection and bio-clinical associations”.  

Qualification  :  

For JRF (2) – MTech/M.Sc in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology with knowledge of human genome and cancer  

Mandatory Skills  :  Candidates who have knowledge in Systems biology, MD simulations, Linux, Python  Stipend  :  For JRF (2) - Rs. 37,000 + 09 % HRA, per month     

No. of Vacancies  :  For JRF -1(Location) – VIT, Vellore  For JRF - 2 (Location) – VIT, Vellore     

Age Limit (if any)  :  For JRF (2) - Not exceeding 27 years  For All post - Age must be from 18 to 27 years     

Sponsoring Agency  :  Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India  

Duration  :  36 months (12 months renewable)
