1. Title of project: Synthetic lethal interaction screening for discovery of novel Acetobacter baumannii L,D transpeptidase (LdtJ) inhibitors

4. Qualifications:
Essential: Post-graduate degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with at least two years of expertise in antibacterial drug discovery using chemical genetics
Desirable: Candidates having Ph.D. degree awarded in the field of Microbiology/Biotech with prior knowledge and expertise in cell wall catalyzing enzymes of bacteria and expertise in molecular biology techniques, analytical chemistry and Docking analvsis will be preferred
5. Emoluments; t56,0001 per month + HRA
6. Duration: One year, extendable up to the project durltion based on assessment of performance.
7. Job description: To develop experiments on inhibitor screening against cell ivall proteins. Genetic manipulations, molecular cloning, protein purification and biochemical assays. Animal handling conduct experiments in animal models.
