Applications are invited for recruitment of two posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at IARI,
New Delhi and IARI Regional Station, Shimla on contractual basis under Ignite Life Science
Foundation funded project "Pre-breeding for climate-resilient and disease-resistant wheat
by harnessing genes from Triticale × Wheat-derived rye chromatin". Eligible candidates
are invited to attend interview to be held online on 30th April, 2026.

Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Genetics/Plant breeding/Genetics &
Plant breeding/Molecular
Biology/Biotechnology/relevant life
science discipline with Bachelor's Candidates must have a
minimum of 60% marks in
postgraduation.
The candidate must have
qualified NET/GATE or any National
Level examinations conducted by
Central Government Departments/Agencies/Institutions (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO,
MOE, ICAR, IARI, ICMR, IIT, IISc,
IISER, NISER)
Desirable Qualification:
Research experience in microscopу,
Fluorescence in situ hybridization and
molecular marker assisted breeding
