Job Responsibility – Microbiologist (Micro Department)
Department: Microbiology
Experience: More than 1 Year
Qualification: M.Sc. Microbiology / B.Tech Biotechnology
Key Responsibilities:
Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, water samples, and environmental samples.
Conduct routine analysis including microbial limit test, sterility testing, culture handling, and pathogen identification.
Maintain and monitor aseptic conditions in the laboratory and production areas.
Prepare culture media, reagents, and microbiological documentation as per SOPs.
Carry out environmental monitoring of clean rooms and controlled areas.
Operate and maintain microbiology laboratory instruments and equipment.
Record, review, and maintain accurate test reports and laboratory data.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and laboratory safety standards.
Assist in investigations related to microbial contamination and deviation handling.
Coordinate with QA/QC and production departments for microbiological compliance.
Participate in calibration, validation, and audit activities when required.
Maintain inventory of microbiological media, chemicals, and consumables.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of microbiological techniques and laboratory practices.
Familiarity with GMP/GLP guidelines.
Good documentation and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Basic computer knowledge and report preparation skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Minimum 1+ year experience in microbiology laboratory operations.
Strong understanding of sterile practices and contamination control.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
