Walk-in-interview will be held in Department of Zoology, Kannur University,
Mananthavady campus- 670645 on 2nd June, 2026 at 10:00 AM for the position of one Junior
Research Fellow (JRF)/Research associate in the following research project purely on
temporary basis and co-terminus with the project period or till completion of eligible period.
Interested and eligible candidates are requested to attend the walk-in-interview with all the
necessary documents proving their eligibility and experience.

M.Sc. in Zoology/Applied Zoology/Forestry/Environmental Science/Geography/Botany or allied fields
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years(for general category).
Upper age limit relaxations up to; 5 years for SC/ST/Women and physically handicapped candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates a. Qualified NET/GATE or other national PhD eligibility examinations b. At least 1 year experience in remote sensing/field studies 3 Years (36 Months)
Rs. 37,000/- per month
1. The appointment is purely temporary and according to the University and ISRO
regulations. On contract basis for one year/termination of project, subject to review
before renewal. The PI reserves the discretion to renew.
2. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
