Engagement to the position of Project Associate – I
CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru, a constituent National
Laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), desires to engage
qualified candidate as Project Associate-I purely on temporary contractual basis for
the project entitled “Targeting Tau Acetylation and Synaptic Dysfunction in
Alzheimer’s Disease: Investigating the Neuroprotective Potential of Nobiletin and
Tangeretin” with project number GAP674. The tenure of the project is approximately 3
years the engagement is based on the requirement or till the end of the project duration,
whichever is earlier at CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, Karnataka. The details are as follows:
Rs. 37,000/- plus HRA*
MSc. in Natural Sciences
(Biotechnology,
Biochemistry, Molecular
Biology, Botany, Zoology
or related subject) or
Medicine from recognized
University
With
(a)National-level eligibility
test such as CSIR-UGC
NET (JRF/LS) or GATE
(b) Or National level
Examination conducted
by Central Government
Departments and their
Agencies and Institutions
To conduct R&D activities
aligned with the project
objectives, focusing biochemical
analysis, cell culture studies,
handling of mouse model,
gene and protein expression
analysis
Desirable Qualification/Experience: Hands on experience in Molecular Biology, Cell
culture, and small experimental animal Handling.
