Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Indian Nationals only) on a plain paper or in
the prescribed format (Form-B) for the following temporary position(s) in the research project
sponsored by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.

3 Fellowship / Honorarium INR 37,000/-
4 HRA, if applicable 27% HRA
5 Tenure of the Post Initially one year, which can be curtailed or extended up to
three years, based on candidate performance and Funding
support
6 Essential Qualifications M. Sc. / M. Tech. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/
Bioinformatics or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate
marks with NET/GATE qualification.
7 Desirable Qualifications Candidates having experience of molecular biology,
protein biochemistry and structural biology will be
preferred.
8 Age As per the Funding Agency
1. Applicants should note that the appointments to be made are purely temporary and there is
no right for claiming for any regular appointment in the University.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview or at the time of joining the
post.
3. Self-Attested copies of all certificates in support of the information furnished in the
application should be enclosed.
4. Last date for receipt of filled-in applications is: 5.30 pm on July 9, 2026.
