“Walk In Interview for ADVANCED CANCER CYTOGENETIC TRAINING COURSE”
SIX MONTHS TRAINING + SIX MONTHS INTERNSHIP
COMMENCING AT ACTREC
Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) announces a training course
in Cancer Cytogenetic for Post-Graduates.
This training program will be focused on conventional and molecular cancer cytogenetics. Cancer
Cytogenetic Laboratory is equipped with the state of the art instrumentation and expertise. The proposed
course will cover theoretical, technical & practical aspects.
Selected candidates will be assigned to any one of the above as per requirement and In house examinations
will be held periodically and certificates will be awarded to successful candidates on completion of the
course in the specialty area.
DURATION ( 6 Months Training + 6 Months Internship )
QUALIFICATION Full Time M.Tech. / M. Sc from a State University with minimum 60% marks in Zoology
/ Medical or Biomedical Genetics / Botany / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life
Sciences / Cytogenetics / Biochemistry / Medical laboratory.
Candidates with 3-6 month’s experience in Cytogenetic will be preferred.
Candidates need to upload CGPA to Percentage conversion certificate with
qualification certificate.

AGE LIMIT Upto 30 Years on the last date of the Application
Relaxable for sponsored candidates and SC / ST & OBC as per rules.
COURSE FEES Rs. 12,000/- + 18% Gst
STIPEND Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) per month for a period of six months. A
trainee who fails to complete the training, will be liable to pay to the Institute(TMCACTREC) a sum equivalent to aggregate amount of stipend received by him/her
during the period of training along with interest thereon.

SECURITY DEPOSIT Selected candidates are required to deposit an amount of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five
Thousand only) at the time of joining. Which will be refunded without interest only
after successful completion of Training and Internship. If the candidate leaves the
training before completion, the security deposit will be forfeited.
Mandatory
Internship
Selected Candidates will be required to do Mandatory Internship at ACTREC w.e.f.
01.02.2027 on a consolidated remuneration @ Rs.15,000/- p.m. (Rupees Fifteen
Thousand only) for a period of six months after successful completion of the training.
A trainee who fails to complete the Internship, will be liable to pay to the
Institute(TMC-ACTREC) a sum equivalent to aggregate amount of Stipend & Salary
received by him/her during the period of training and Internship along with interest
thereon.
Hepatitis B Vaccination should be completed.
Accommodation will not be provided
Terms & Conditions:
1. During the period of training, the trainee shall not apply for any post or any other course / scholarship
or appear for any examination or interview outside without the permission of the Centre.
2. It is mandatory to produce M.Sc. Passing certificate at the time of the interview.
3. The candidates who are in service must submit their applications through the Head of their Institution
with a NOC.
4. Persons working under Central / State Government / Autonomous Body / Semi Government
Organizations and other Public Sector Undertakings must forward their applications through (proper
channel) the head of the organization.
5. The Tata Memorial Centre reserves the right to cancel the posts, fix minimum eligibility standard/
bench mark and restrict no. of candidates to be called for MCQ/Interview taking into account various
factors like no. of vacancies, performance of the candidate etc., and decide to determine the qualifying
marks for selecting candidates for the interview. Merely fulfilling the prescribed qualifications will not
entitle an applicant to be called for MCQ/Interview. The Tata Memorial Centre also reserves the right
to fix minimum eligibility standard / cut-off marks (Group/Stream/Discipline/Category-wise etc.) while
finalizing such candidates to be called for interview as well as selecting the candidates for final selection
after the interview. The decision of the Tata Memorial Centre in this regards shall be final and binding
and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained with the candidates.
Candidates to report the venue with Xerox copies of the qualification documents with Originals mentioned
in the Advertisement.
