BRIC-Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department ofBiotechnology,
Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the
following positions under the DBT project titled “Uncovering the functional significance of novel genetic variations
in multi-ancestry Indian populations through integrative genomics and proteomic analysis (Project no:
BT/PR48421/MED/12/1043/2023)”.

Upper age limit 35 years
Remuneration 31,000/- per month + 20% HRA
Eligibility criteria
Essential qualifications
Candidates having M.Sc. / M. Tech / M. Pharm. / M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Life
Sciences or allied subjects (Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Virology / Microbiology, etc.) with a
minimum of 55% aggregate marks (relaxation will be given as per GOI guideline).
Some national level exam qualification (NET, GATE) is preferable. In case of non-NET, GATE
qualified candidates found suitable for the position the salary will be 28000/- + 20% HRA
Desirable Experience in coding, database development, website front end development and NGS data
analysis (RNAseq, Single cell data) will be given preference.
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the
interview. The Director's decision on candidate selection will be final, and no further correspondence will be
entertained in this regard.
