The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (www.instem.res.in), Bangalore is an
autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology,
Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field
of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation.
To develop strengths in focused areas, research at iBRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative
interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory.

Scientific position in the Developmental Chromatin Dynamics laboratory of Dr. Srinivas Animireddy

Essential Qualification
M.Sc (Lifesciences) or M.Sc
(Biotech) (3+2 years stream)
or MSc Bioinformatics
Optional Qualification
• Experience in programming
(R, Python, or related
languages).
• Expertise in genomics,
epigenomics, transcriptomics,
and next-generation
sequencing (NGS) data
analysis.
• Perform analysis of epigenomic
and transcriptomic sequencing
datasets.
• Plan and execute experiments,
maintain accurate records, and
ensure compliance with
laboratory protocols.
• Conduct literature reviews,
analyse experimental data, and
prepare regular project updates
and presentations.
• Participate actively in group
meetings and contribute
intellectually to project
development and scientific
discussions.
• Assist with experimental
studies involving routine
mammalian cell culture.
