Central Food Technological Research Institute, a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India wishes to recruit eligible candidates for 4 (FOUR) positions of Project Assistants (PA-II) on temporary basis in the research projects of XII five year plan “ New Initiatives to Boost Agriculture Productivity Through Maximizing Pre and Post-harvest Yields (BSC-0105, Agropathy) ” at CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore.
Essential Qualification: First Class M.Sc. in any of the following subject areas: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioscience, Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, Botany, Zoology or similar subjects or First Class M.Tech/B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering or similar subjects.
Emoluments: A Consolidated Salary of Rs 12,000 per month will be paid.
The selection will be based on the performance of candidates in the interview.
Terms & Conditions:
- Candidates should not have exceeded 28 years of age as on the last date of receiving the applications. Age relaxation as applicable by Gov. of India rules for SC/ST/OBC and women candidate will be considered.
- The engagement of Project Assistant is exclusively for the above mentioned project.
- The engagement will be contractual and on purely temporary basis.
- The engagement under the externally funded project does not confer any right / claim whatsoever either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR/CFTRI, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent.
- No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview.
