A walk-in-interview will be held at CENTRAL INSTITUTE FOR SUBTROPICAL HORTICULTURE, at Rae Bareli Road, Telibagh, Lucknow an Institute under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), for selection of Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow, Scout and Enumerator as per details given below:

1. ICAR-Network project on transgenic in crops - Sub project ICAR-NPTC 3069 Functional genomics of alternate bearing and malformation in mango.

Project Duration: Up to March, 2017 )

Date of Interview : 27.04.2015 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards

Research Associate (One)

For Master Degree 23000/-per month(fixed) + 20% HRA, for PhD. 24000/- per month(fixed) +20% HRA

Essential: Ph.D. Degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Allied Sciences; or M.Sc. in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences/Allied Sciences with Ist Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from /fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ research experience.

Desirable: 4-5 years research experience in molecular biology techniques, and data analysis, Published research papers will be desirable.

SRF (One)

Rs. 16000/-per month for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 18000/- per month for 3 rd year + 20% HRA

Essential: M.Sc. in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences/ Allied Sciences

Desirable: One year or more experience in molecular biology techniques, bioinformatics data analysis.

2. NICRA Project entitled, "Understanding the changes in host- pest interactions and dynamics in mango under climate change scenario"

Project Duration: Project period up to the end of 12th Plan or termination of project)

Date of Interview : 27.04.2015 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards

Scout (one)

Rs. 8000/-per month (Fixed)

Essential: Bachelors Degree in Agriculture or life sciences.

4. Project entitled “Developing enzyme catalyzed-microbe mediated processes for biofuel from mango waste (peel and kernel), under AMAAS.

Project Duration: Up to March, 2017 or termination of the project

Date of Interview : 28.04.2015

Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards

SRF (One)

Rs. 16000/- per month for 1 st and 2nd year Rs. 18000/- per month for 3rd year + 20% HRA

Essential : Post graduate in Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks

Desirable: Experience in fermentation technology, biofuel production, waste utilization, enzyme production

Age Limit : Research Associate : 40 years for male and 45 years for female candidates. For Senior Research Fellow, Enumerator and Scout : 35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates.

Note : Age will be calculated as on the date of interview. Relaxation of age admissible for SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules
