Walk – in -interview for one (1) post of Junior Research Fellow each in a DBT Sponsored Project entitled “Investigating and probing RBC-Endothelial cell interaction through ex-vivo cerebral malaria model to develop adjuvant therapy for malaria pathology” and in a NTRF Sponsored Project entitled “Molecular modeling and screening of phytochemicals reservoir from tea (camellia sinsesis L) as a lead immuno-stimulatory agents.” at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati.

The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year, may be extended based on performance.

Qualification and Experience:

For DBT Sponsored Project: M. Sc/M. Tech/ in Biotechnology/Life sciences/Biochemistry or related subjects with minimum of 70% marks. Candidate with valid NET/GATE will be preferred. The age of the candidate should be less than 28 years.

For NTRF Sponsored Project: M. Sc/ M.Tech /B.Tech in Biotechnology/Life sciences/Biochemistry or related subjects with minimum of 60% marks. Candidate with valid NET/GATE will be preferred. The age of the candidate should be less than 28 years.

Fellowship:

For DBT Sponsored Project:- JRF with NET/GATE/BET/BINC : Rs. 25,000 p.m. +HRA JRF without NET/GATE/BET/BINC : Rs. 12,000 p.m. +HRA

For NTRF Sponsored Project : 16,000 +HRA + Other Benefits
