Applications are invited for one post of JRF/SRF at the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Guwahati for the project entitled “Structure, function, dynamics and inhibition of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs)” funded by Dept. of Biotechnology, Government of India.
Fellowship:
JRF: Rs. 14,000/ per month (+ HRA and Medical facilities as per the institute rules)
SRF: Rs. 16,000/ per month (+ HRA and Medical facilities as per the institute rules)
Essential Qualifications :
SRF: M. Sc. / M. Tech. in Biotechnology or related subjects with at least two years of relevant research experience. Candidates with working experience in Biochemistry/Molecular biology/Microbiology will be preferred.
JRF: M. Sc. / M. Tech. in Biotechnology or related subjects. Candidates with working experience in Biochemistry/Molecular biology/Microbiology will be preferred.
Candidates should have qualified NET/GATE/ UGC/CSIR/ICAR/ICMR or equivalent examination.
Terms and conditions: The appointment shall be on yearly contractual basis extendable till tenure of the project subject to the performance of the candidate in the project work.
