Walk-in interview will be held on 02.01.2016 at 10:30 AM at NRCPB, New Delhi for filling Research Associate, Junior Research Fellow, Field and Technical Assistant positions as mentioned below.

DBT: Maintenance, Characterization and Use of EMS Mutants of Upland variety Nagina 22 for Functional Genomics in Rice-Phase II 

Junior Research Fellow* /Senior Research Fellow 03 (Three) 

Rs.25000/‐ (+ 30% HRA) 

M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Genetics or related field with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with NET (or) Graduate Degree in Professional course with NET qualification (or) Post Graduate Degree in Professional course 

Research experience in Genomics (structural/functional) or molecular markers or transcriptome analysis 

Candidates with experience in sequencing, high throughput genotyping or data analysis will be preferred.

Research Associate-I* 01 (One) 

Rs. 36000/- (+30% HRA) 

Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 year of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal. 

At least three years research experience in bioinformatic data analysis esp., NGS data analysis. Experience substantiated by publications of high quality will be preferred. Any additional experience of working with plants, especially mutant resources will be preferred.
