Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (l) in the prescribed format; in the research scheme “MISC 36: Surveillance of anti microbial resistance (AMR) in microflora of milk and dairy cattle from organized and unorganized dairy sector of Punjab region (SB/YS/LS-l3l/20l4)” sanctioned by the Science & Engineering Research Board, New Delhi. The post is purely temporary and is for six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier. The term of fellowship may be extended for further period provided that the performance of the candidate is found satisfactory. The required qualifications are here under:
M.Sc/ M.Tech in Microbiology, Dairy Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognized University - with an overall credit point average of 6.00/10 or 60 % marks and above.
Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in the field of anti microbial resistance; Isolation, preservation and maintenance of microbial strains and basic techniques of Molecular biology
Rs. 25,000.00 + 20% HRA (per month) for Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course,
Rs. 12,000.00 + 20% HRA (per month) for Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences without NET.
Age limit: 28 Year, relaxed upto 5 years for SC/ST/PH/OBC/Women candidates.
The last date for submission of Biodata (in the prescribed format attached) along with a recent passport size photograph and attested photocopies of all related documents is 25/03/2016 till 3.00 PM. The documents can be submitted by post/by hand/through e- mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) in the O/o the undersigned. The eligible candidates may appear in the interview on 28/03/2016 at 11.00 AM along with their original certificates/degrees in the office of the undersigned. No TA/DA is permissible for appearing in the interview and no separate letter for the interview will be issued.
