Walk-in-Interview - Project Assistant-II on 30 March 2016 at 10:30 A.M.

Applications are invited for posts of Project Assistant level –II to work in the research project “Potassic fertilizer technology to empower the nation (K-TEN)”

Project Assistant-II: (Two posts) GEN

Emoluments @ `12000/-

Essential qualifications- M.Sc. Microbiology or Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks.

Desirable: Candidates having experience in isolation and characterization of microorganisms from saline environments will be preferred.

General Conditions:-

Job Requirement: Isolation and characterization of halotolerant or halophilic bacteria/cyanobacteria/microalgae for applications in potash solubilisation, biofuels and commercially important enzymes.

The posts are purely temporary for duration of sponsored project/scheme only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.

Age limit: Age limit for Project assistant at level II should not be more than 28 years respectively as on the date of interview. However, upper age limit may be relaxed as per CSIR rules for the SC/ ST/ OBC/ Handicapped candidates.

The interested candidates meeting the above stated requirements may attend the walk-in-interview with a copy of detailed bio-data enclosing photocopies of all certificates, reprints etc. along with the original certificates of qualification, experience etc. in support of their claimon 30 March 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR), Gijubhai Badheka Marg, Bhavnagar 364002.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
