HIMALAYAN FELLOWSHIPS UNDER THE NATIONAL MISSION ON HIMALAYAN STUDIES (NMHS) PROGRAMME (HIMALAYAN RESEARCH ASSOCIATES AND HIMALAYAN RESEARCH FELLOWS)

Interested and eligible candidates are requested to appear before the selection committee on 11 AM for the following posts for Himalayan fellowship for tracking Climate Change in the Indian Himalayan Landscape Zoological Survey of India

Himalayan Research Associate - 03 (Three)

[RA-I Rs.36,000 RA-II Rs. 38,000 RA-III Rs. 40,000] +HRA

M. Sc. & Ph.D in Zoology/Life Sciences equivalent

Age: up to 40 years

Himalayan Research Fellow # - 10 (Ten)

[JRF Rs. 16,000 for first two years and SRF Rs. 18,000 (after two years & fulfilling requirements)] + HRA 

M. Sc. Zoology/Life Sciences/or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University

Age: up to 28 years

Desirable qualifications are only indicative in nature. In case of exceptional candidates, these may be relaxed.

# UGC/CSIR NET JRF/GATE qualified candidates would be awarded fellowship in line with DST while otherwise competent/ suitable candidates above which are likely to be amended as per ZSI norms.
