Recruitment for the post of “Project Assistant/Fellow” under funded project
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following position on contract basis:

Minimum prescribed educational Qualifications M.Sc or B.E/B.Tech in Physics / Chemistry / Computer science /Life sciences/Bioinformatics/Biotechnology.
Candidates who have completed their degree as of June 2016. Those awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
Preference Preference will be given to candidates having some demonstrable background in structural Biology and computer programming experience. Candidates without coding/programming experience are advised not to apply.
Job requirement Developing algorithms and computer programs to analyze and predict the 3D structures of proteins and protein-protein complexes. Knowledge of C++ and python would be advantageous.
Tenure of the project Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further period of one year subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate and continuation of the study project.
Consolidated fixed emoluments per month Starting Rs. 16,000/- + 30% HRA p.m. or Rs. 25,000/- + 30% HRA p.m. for candidates who have cleared CSIRNET or equivalent examinations
