Applications are invited for admission to Ph.D. programme on all India basis in the following disciplines for vacant seats for the academic session 2016-17 :

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: An Overall Credit Point Average (OCPA) of 7.00 (out of 10.00) or 70% marks or equivalent at Master’s level in the respective or related discipline and an OCPA of 5.50 (out of 10.00) or 55% marks or equivalent at the Bachelor’s level. 5% marks are reduced for candidates belonging to reserved categories i.e. SC/ST and BC.

FOR APPLYING OFFLINE: The prospectus alongwith application form can be obtained from the Additional Director of Communication, Centre for Communication and International Linkages, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, personally at the counter on a payment of Rs.1750/- in cash from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on all working days. The application form purchased from the counter be submitted alongwith bank draft of Rs. 3150/- drawn in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana. Payable at Ludhiana or in cash in the office of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana.
Incomplete applications/applications received without entrance test fee or the applications received after the prescribed date shall not be entertained.
Note:- Ph.D. students will be sent to other universities/institutes from various departments for their 1st semester. The candidates will be informed about the name of other university/institute and the date of their registration at the time of counselling.
