entitled “Hydrogenogenic carbon monoxide conversion under mesophilic condition using anaerobic
granular sludge biomass for biodesulphurization” under the guidance of Prof. Tapan K. Dutta,
Department of Microbiology.
Essential Qualification : A good M.Sc. degree in any branch of Life Sciences with NET* qualification.
Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA.
Age Limit : Below 28 Years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
* As per SERB Office Memorandum No. SB/S9/Z-01/2015 dated 07.01.2015, the following examinations
conducted by various Central Government Departments / Agencies are considered as National Eligibility
Test (NET).
– CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test-JRF
MHRD – Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Joint Admission Test (JAM),
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)
DBT - Biotechnology Eligibility Test & Test conducted in Bioinformatics
by Bioinformatics National Consortium (BINC)
DAE – JEST & JGEEBILS, NBHM
ICMR – JRF Entrance Examination
ICAR – All India Competitive Examination (AICE)
Interested and eligible candidates may appear in person before the Selection Committee with a typed
application addressed to the Sr. Prof. & In-Charge, Registrar’s Office, Bose Institute, P–1/12, C.I.T.
Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054 along with complete Bio-data giving details of
qualification i.e. examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks from Secondary onwards with
attested copies of Certificates, Mark-sheets. Candidates should also bring original mark-sheets, certificates,
testimonials at the time of Interview. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the Interview.
