A walk-in interview will be held for the appointment of one research project fellow (JRF) on 4th April, 2017 (Tuesday) at 3 PM, in the office of DPO, 87/1 College Street, Kolkata 700 073 regarding the UGC sanctioned Major Research Project entitled “Evaluation of Molecular Marker(s) and Therapy by Multi-targeted Drugs for Parkinson’s Diseases in Paraquatinduced mice model” under the guidance of Dr. Nilkanta Chakrabarti, Department of Physiology, University of Calcutta. Tenure of the project till 30.06.2018 as per UGC approval. 

Required Qualification: First Class M.Sc. in Life Sciences from recognized University, NET/GATE qualification is preferable. 

Age Limit : As per Government rules in vogue. 

Remuneration : As per UGC terms, (a) Candidate with Non-GATE/Non-NET @ Rs. 14,000/- p.m. and (b) Candidate with GATE/NET/GPAT @ Rs. 16,000/- p.m. 

Note: The fellowship of the selected candidate for JRF will be offered initially for the time being (about 8-9 months) with the available fund for the Fellowship. The Fellowship will be continued subject to the release of the remaining fund by UGC. The candidate should bring two separate sets of complete application furnishing biodata on plain paper along with attested copies of testimonials on the date of interview. The original certificates and mark sheets are to be presented before the Selection Committee on the day of the interview.
