Candidates are invited for a walk in interview on 26

of the Head of the Department of Botany, for the position of a Research Assistant for a WB
DBT sponsored project entitled “Molecular regulation of drought tolerance in rice with
special reference to the functional aspect of OsR40C1 protein” under Dr. Soumitra Paul at
Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata-
700019.
Candidates are requested to appear in walk in interview along with two set of applications
furnishing bio-data and all testimonials in original and attested photo-copies.
Reporting time: 11.00 AM
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in any branch of life science (First Class or A+).
NET/SET/GATE candidates will be given preference.
Fellowship: Rs. 16,400/- per month consolidated.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
