Calcutta University has announced a notification for the selection of Junior Research Fellow
(JRF) vacancy in Ministry of AYUSH sponsored project at the Centre for Research in
Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
Eligible candidates may appear for walk in interview on 02-
06-2017 at 12:00 noon. Other details like qualification, selection process, how to apply are given

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Project title: A Ministry of AYUSH sponsored project, entitled "Anti-migratory role of black
seed extract (thymoquinone) nanoparticle in triple negative breast cancer cells:
Evaluation of Molecular Mechanism via miRNA axis” under the guidance of Dr. Arghya
Adhikary.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have BAMS, from a recognized University / M.Sc
in any branch of life science with 60% marks.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those who possesses NET or GATE qualification or who
have previous short term research experience i.e having worked for any research project.
Age: Not exceeding 35 Years as on date of interview.
Stipend details: As per Ministry of AYUSH, Rs.25000/- pm + 30% HRA
Tenure: The appointment of staff would be made initially for one year and extendable by specific
orders further depending on performances.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview. The decision of the
selection committee will be designated as final.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may attend for walk in interview along with applications in
white paper (two copies), necessary documents such as Bio Data and other self-attested
testimonials on 02-06-2017 at 12:00 noon.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
