Walk-in-interview

The interested and eligible candidates are invited for a Walk-in-interview to be held on 31st May, 2017 at 10 AM in the office of Dean Research for filling up the following positions available in the Centre of Kashmir Himalayan Biodiversity- Documentation, Bioprospection and Conservation sanctioned to the University of Kashmir by the University Grants commission under the CPEPA scheme. The positions are purely temporary and coterminus with the tenure of the project. The candidates should bring original certificates/ transcripts and other documents indicating qualification, percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, age, certificate of having qualified NET and/or similar accredited tests and research experience in the relevant field (if any) on the day of interview. 

02 Junior Research Fellow/ Project Fellow* 

Rs. 16000 for first three years and Rs. 18000 for third and 4th year +HRA @20% /month (Project Fellows would be paid emoluments as per UGC norms) 

M. Sc in Biochemistry with at least 55% marks 

Applicants having experience in isolation and purification of bioactive compounds etc. would be preferred. 02 M. Sc in Botany/Microbiology with at least 55% marks 

Applicants having experience in classical and molecular taxonomy, metagenomics, biological invasions would be preferred 

M. Sc in Geography preferably having working knowledge in Remote Sensing & GIS/Geoinformatics with at least 55% marks. 

No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview.
