The following contractual positions are to be filled through walk-in-interviews on adhoc basis at Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur. The suitable candidates, who possess all the required qualification , may appear in the walk-in-interviews with all original educational, experience certificate/ documents, one set of photocopies of all produced papers and one passport size photograph at this Institute at the following dates and time:

1 Senior Research Fellow

DUS Project on Linseed initially up to 31/3/2018 (Co- terminus in nature whichever is earlier)

Rs. 25000/- + HRA p.m.

Essential

M.Sc.(Ag) in Genetics & Plant Breeding from a recognized University with 4 years Bachelors degree

OR

M.Sc.(Ag) in Genetics & Plant Breeding from a recognized University with 3 years Bachelors degree and NET qualification

Desirable qualification :

(i)Working experience in field crops
(ii) Knowledge of computers

35 years for male, 40 years for female

2 Senior Research Fellow 5 Posts 

Strategic Research Component of National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)

Upto March, 2018 likely to be continued

Rs. 25000/- + HRA p.m.

Essential:

Master Degree in Science or Agriculture with specialization in Plant Physiology/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences a)Bachelor’s degree should be of 4/5 years

OR

b) Candidate having 3yrs Bachelor’s degree and two years Master’s degree should be NET qualified or Ph.D.

Desirable:

Work experience on field crops/laboratory experience on biological techniques 

35 years for male, 40 years for female

1. The above posts are on purely adhoc basis and does not confer any right or claim for regular appointment.
2. The place of work will be as mentioned above.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Walk-in-interviews.
4. All candidates are requested to appear before half-an-hour of the scheduled time for walk-in-interview for completion of necessary formalities.
5. 5 / 3 years age relaxation will be given to SC/ST & OBC candidates as per GOI norms.
6. The working/ PHD pursuing candidates must bring ‘No Objection Certificate’ for their Employer/ University.
7. In case of approaching any political pressure etc, candidature of the candidate will be cancelled.
8. If the no of candidates will be more, the committee may screen the candidates through any written exam/ screening process before appearing in the personal
interview.
9. The decision of the Director will be last & final.
10. The no of vacancies may be increased or decreased on the basis of vacancies in other projects.
