The Utkal University, established in the year 1943, is the 17th oldest University in India At
present, it is located at the Vani Vihar Campus in the capital city of Bhubaneswar spread over a
sprawling 399.9 acre area adjacent to NH 16 at the heart of the city. This is one of the largest
affiliating Universities in the country with more than 357 affiliating colleges and accredited by NAAC
as A+ Grade. This premier University caters to the needs of higher education of a population of more
