Walk in interview to be held in Division of Genetics for recruitment of Junior Research Fellow purely on contractual basis in the externally funded project of SERB-DST on 17th August, 2018 .
Junior Research Fellow in SERBDST funded project entitled “Exploring the significance of genetic
redundancy of Wnt genes: Mutations and molecular analysis”
Rs. 25,000 + 30% HRA per month for I & II year; and Rs. 28,000 + 30% HRA for III year (As per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z- 09/2012 dated 21/10/2014)
Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/
Botany/ Bioinformatics/Life Sciences or allied subjects with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree.
Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent
Desirable: Research experience in handling Drosophila (fruit fly)
