The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) is an autonomous institution of Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, for a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune Campus, Pune. NCCS invites applications for following posts purely on temporary basis on the Establishment of a Pune Biotech Cluster project.

01 Laboratory Manager, Tier II, Grade C for microscopy (एक पद) (One Post)

Establishment of A Pune Biotech Cluster, “Model Organism to Human Disease.” (For Bio-Imaging Facility) - Dr. Jomon Joseph

30 Years

Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree with 1 year experience or B.Sc. with 5 years of experience.

Desirable : Should have excellent experience in managing a Bio-Imaging (Microscopy) instrumental facility and outstanding team managing capabilities.

Essential Qualification & Experience: M. Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum of 55 % marks in any branch of life science.

Desirable : Experience in handling high-end Microscopes and / or LC-MS

Essential Qualification & Experience: 1 st class M.Tech / MD/ MVSc / M. Pharm/M. Biotech or Ph.D. / corresponding degrees in other disciplines.

Evidence of leadership with about 8 years of experience in R & D including working with infectious pathogens in BSL-3.
