Candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview for selection and engagement of the following position under NFDB-NBFGR funded Project entitled “National Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal Diseases (Sub-Project No. 12). The post is purely project funded and the can be terminated at any time without giving any prior notice. The SVVU reserves the right to fill or not fill the above position without showing any reason. The incumbent shall not be entitled for any claim, either implicit or explicit, for absorption in this University, as the post is co-terminus with the sub-project. 

Project Name : National Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal Diseases (Sub-Project No. 12) 

Name of Position : SRF/Young Professional – II (YP- II) 

No. of Posts : 2 (Two) 

Emoluments : SRF : Rs.25,000/- + HRA (as per ICAR/SVVU Guidelines ) (per month) YP- II : Rs.25,000/- 

Qualifications : 

SRF Essential 

 M.F.Sc.(Aquatic Animal Health Management/Aquaculture/ Biotechnolog/Aquatic Envoironment/Fish Processing Technology with specialization in microbiology or biotechnology ) 

Desirable 

 working experience in fish/shrimp farms, research experience in molecular biology/ microbiology and histopathology; good skill in computer applications 

YP-II 

Essential M.Sc.(Microbiology/Biotechnology/Fisheries/Zoology with specialization in Fisheries) 

Desirable 

 Working experience in farms, experience in Microbiology/ Molecular biology; good skill in computer applications 

Age : SRF : Maximum 35 years with relaxation as per rules YP-II : Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules Duration : Up to September 2019 or till the completion of project. 

Nature of Work : The place of operation is at Dept. of Aquatic Animal Health Management, College of Fishery Science, Muthukur. Candidates are required to collect diseased fish and shellfish samples from farms of selected districts in Andhra Pradesh. They have to carry out laboratory analysis of diseased samples, data compilation and report submission along with project related administrative works. 

Venue, Date, Time : College of Fishery Science, Muthukur on 08.10.2018 (Monday) of interview at 2.00 PM 

The candidate appearing for the interview should submit a copy of his/her bio-data in Triplicate along with 3 passport size photographs and attested copies of certificates in support of their educational qualifications and experience. Original certificates are required for verification. 

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.
