Essential qualification : Master’s degree in Animal Genetics/ Biotechnology/Life Science(s) with 4 years/5
years of Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in basic
sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and two years master’s degree should
have net qualification and two years of research experience as mentioned in OM no.

Desirable work
experience
: Preference will be given to persons having experience in bioinformatics analyses.
*Experience in handling the NGS/GBS data with a sound knowledge of
programming languages like R/Python.
Emoluments : Rs. 31,000.00 per month plus HRA as per specified revised ICAR guidelines.
Age limit : Maximum 35 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women
as per the rules.
Duration of the project : The likely date of completion is April 2025.
